Aberrant Knight | 5.5E Fighter Subclass
Aberrant Knights are Fighters who uncover forbidden knowledge that can draw fragments of otherworldly life into the mortal realm. Through rituals based on whispered instructions from beyond the stars, they learn to bind these alien entities to their weapons. Under their influence, steel warps and sprouts tendrils, eyes, mouths, and other unearthly growths.
These transformations suggest the initial stages of something far more sinister, as if each corrupted weapon is a tiny seed from which an incomprehensible presence could emerge. Aberrant Knights rarely agree on what their rituals reveal or whether the responding entity even understands them. What they do know is that their living weapons can maim both flesh and mind, produce and control impossible appendages, and spread the influence of something that should never have entered their world.
