A short adventure for four to six 8th-level characters!
The graveyard surrounding a ruined chapel has become the site of a necromancer's sinister experiments. Once a peaceful resting place for generations of the dead, the cemetery has fallen into disrepair. Reports of disturbed graves and wandering undead have spread through the nearby settlements, drawing fearful eyes toward the chapel’s crumbling walls.
Within those ruins, a necromancer works in secret, calling the buried back to serve. When the players arrive, the ritual is already in motion. Corpses claw their way from the earth to defend their master, while a horrifying creature known as a Graveknot stalks the cemetery. Formed from several bodies fused together by necromantic magic, the creature is a terrifying example of the necromancer's work. The players must overcome the rising dead and confront their master before the graveyard yields even greater horrors.
