Oath of the Headless Horseman | 5.5E Paladin Subclass
Paladins sworn to the Oath of the Headless Horseman become supernatural riders bound to the road between life and death. When they call upon their oath, spectral flame consumes their visage, transforming them into a headless apparition whose passing is often mistaken for an omen of impending death.
These Paladins are drawn to restless spirits and to places where the dead have been denied peace. Their journeys often lead them along forgotten roads or into lands haunted by unfinished tragedy. Those who swear this oath uphold the following tenets:
- Ride without fear toward whatever waits ahead.
- Let no grave silence a wrong that remains unanswered.
- Return for what was taken, no matter how long the road becomes.
