Some were once faithful, casting aside their beliefs after betrayal or disillusionment. Others never believed at all, drawing their power not from worship but from unwavering purpose. These clerics channel divine energy through sheer will, siphoning power from the lingering essence of belief itself. They are proof that the gods are not the sole property of the divine. Power exists where conviction burns, and the Apostate knows how to grasp it without kneeling.
