She is the wild’s hunger given form, a primal spirit that answers the world’s cruelty with her own. Those who bear her mark find their veins intertwined with living roots that thirst for blood.

Barbarians who walk this path are both warriors and hosts. When they rage, their flesh splits, and the roots drink deeply, stealing strength from every wound and feeding on the lives of their enemies. Some see this curse as a blessing, granting the power to heal through slaughter and crush all who trespass against the natural order. Others believe it is merely the first step toward becoming something less than mortal, a vessel meant to nourish the Thornmother until nothing remains.
